Embraced by the healing love of Jesus Christ and inspired by his teachings, we commit ourselves to prayerful, compassionate and courageous action in the world.
Pageants
Twice a year, shortly before Christmas and at the culmination of the traditional school year on Children’s Sunday, the children lead the worship service with a performance or other creative collaboration.
These fun-filled productions are a great way for our children and youth to learn about and share the important stories of our faith. We rehearse during Sunday School in the weeks leading up to our productions, which feature songs, spoken words, costumes, and even live animals! Our productions have a place for everyone, so whether your child loves the limelight, prefers to be behind the scenes, or just wants to wear a costume while sitting in your lap, we’d love to have them join us!
Past productions have included Christmas pageants with live animals, Noah’s Ark, The Tale of the Three Trees, and kid-led services both in-person and virtual.
Children’s Choir
Several times a year, children and youth are invited to attend a few short rehearsals to prepare a song to sing during worship. The Children’s Choir generally sings at Christmas Eve and Easter, and occasionally at other times as well.
Other Art Projects
At various times, multigenerational art activities are offered. Children usually help create the crosses for our yearly Stations of the Cross, for instance.
Fees
There are no fees to participate in any of our pageants or youth choirs - we even provide the costumes!
For any activities that may have a nominal fee, scholarships are available and everyone is encouraged to participate, regardless of ability to pay.
