We welcome and appreciate your giving to our church. Giving online is easy and safe through the PayPal app. If you have a PayPal account, you can use that, but if you don't, you can enter your credit card information when prompted.  There will be an option to leave a note just before payment.

 

You can also send a check to CCC with a reference note in the memo line to: CCC, PO Box 12, Charlotte, VT 05445.

ADDITIONAL GIVING INFORMATION

 

If you wish to donate stocks or securities to the church to make a payment towards your pledge, please contact our bookkeeper Tanya for the proper instructions on how to do that. Her email is cccbookkeeper@gmavt.net.  PLEASE NOTIFY TANYA WHAT TYPE OF STOCK YOU ARE GIVING AND THE APPROXIMATE VALUE.  We want to be sure to notify you for your taxes and to thank you. If you don’t let us  know ahead of time about the stock gift, it is often very difficult to figure out who sent us a gift of stock!

 

On another note, remember that at age 70 1/2, you are required by the IRS to make a minimum distribution (RMD) of your retirement funds.  If you choose to give that amount to a charity, the church would be delighted to be considered! Such a gift would be tax deductible and if you give appreciated securities, you avoid the taxable gain on the appreciation as well.  If you have questions about this, our brokerage firm is happy to help talk you through all the details.
